Quick Update

Just writing to let everyone know, I'm still alive. I'm trying to make Copa Times the best blog I can with the time I have available. Since the 4th and an family emergency I have been unable to post for the past few days. But just to let you know I will be back at it. Check back very very soon and the contest will be posted. As of now there will be a grand prize for the best response I receive and I'm working on getting some other prizes for the 2nd, and 3rd best response. Raburn Plays Walkoff Longball

Well the Tigers picked up another win after a great pitching match up led to a Zumaya let down which then turned into a Raburn Walkoff HR. Its great to see him continue to put up Home Runs. Also it was nice to see the Jim Leyland that will mix it up as well. Another thing I would love to touch on was the change up by Zumaya. He was blowing people away with his fastball and just struck out the previous hitter. Instead Zum Zum located a circle change up that came right back over the plate and whack. Micah Hoffpauir is a great young talent and he showed he can take advantage of mistakes. That situation really got me thinking last night and for now I bet Joel will stick with the fastball more often. Yet the Tigers pulled it out in the end and how exciting it was too see.
