2014 Tigers Top Prospects

The 2014 Detroit Tigers Top Ten Prospect List is out thanks to the great website Baseball America. Easily one of the most trusted sources for Minor League talent projections.

Nick Castellanos is no surprise taking the top spot for the Tigers as he is looking to be a major contributor to the Tigers in 2014. He has been no stranger to the Tigers Top Prospect lists and this should be the last. Known for his good bat, It will be very interesting to watch this young talent.

The one players I'm excited to see is the #2 prospect on the list.

Devon Travis, he is a 2nd baseman that played well both at West Michigan and Lakeland. Known for great strike zone discipline and he passed the in person test as well. I was able to see Travis play for the West Michigan White Caps and you could just tell he wouldn't be playing there too long as he was easily one of the more talented players on the team.

The complete list can be found at Baseball America and is a must read to get you caught up on future up and coming Detroit Tigers.
