Tigers Wrap Up Last Home Game, Twins Get Swept

The Tigers played there last home game for the 2010 season as they beat the Twins 5-1. The Tigers looked very strong this series as they swept the Twins with ease. We all know the Tigers are well out of the playoff picture and of course now they handle the Twins. Where was this last year when all we needed was one win.

Miguel Cabrera kept on rolling along as he hit 38th home run on Sunday. His 38th home run is his career best. This will only help him in the AL MVP race.

"I feel that Cabrera should have a really good shot at the MVP award, it really depends on how you would classify what is an MVP? If the Tigers didn't have Cabrera I wouldn't even want to see how the offense would look. Without Miguel in the middle of the lineup the Tigers would be very lackluster. He means the most to his team and to me this is what makes him the MVP."
